Imo, robs old nuzlockes are way better than most of the modern ones because of the way he played, but I still think he should do 1 pokemon per area and 1 gym catch
Rob is still the only person who has made a pokemon challenge like that fun
I feel like the couple "hard pokemon thing" videos I see occasionally, they are just someone breaking out a spreadsheet, to tell you that the odds of them clearing some arbitrary hurdle is 0.02%, and then a speed montage of 5 hours of attempts to get that
Rob's version of playing through romhacks (or honestly if he had just paid people to make more challenge runs) would imo never have gotten old
I think there's a lot of smaller channels that do that still though and especially used to. Heck, me and multiple people I know have done randomiser streams like that just every now and then
I'd say most don't have the charisma of Rob though

Replying to taxes #tzfi Because he was putting on a show back then. The people watching were watching for a story, for a line of events, for a building of character- the "overcoming a trial" part was only really big in the first 3-4 runs with trying to get past gyms etc.
isnt that why jaiden animations pokemon nuzzlock was recieved so well?
I do have these backed up, I forget if I uploaded them or not
I have a place for them, but never uploaded them, huh
well, Rob in anything gets backed up
and then I backed up the main Buffalo Wizards channels too
for their non-Rob lom vids and whatnot
I mean, technically I have a handful of YouTube channels I ahve set to autoarchive, but that's all not Rob related

github.comhighly recommend if there's a channel you want to mirror videos for as they release
I don't understand why they do that either
you search for something, sometimes fairly obvious or semi-major
and they shove these 300 view shorts down your throat
or worse, 100 fake livestreams trying to crypto scam you
The indian really wants shorts to be the main feature of youtube
I'll self-admit, I don't know what I really want from YouTube at this point
I lived in my sub feed for the longest time
but it's hard to find good/interesting new channels who actually upload
so I either end up watching slop as background noise, or more often I've just stopped watching as much youtube
