A lot of people who win the lottery end up blowing it all and living sad lives
or killing themselves
many people literally cannot handle earning money
because there is basically no solution, the only valid one is tech gets to a point where we enter a post scarcity world and no one works anymore
and basically everything that could be a job is just automated
we are very far from that lmfao
when you say not that far, I think in terms of tech developement, so I thought you meant next 15-20 years
there are some jobs that will not possibly be automated until working ai that can think exists

right now, the big thing is modular reactors
for nuclear stuff
so, instead of having one massive, hard to repair reactor, you have as many small, modular ones as your energy demand needs
and if one breaks you can just take it out and replace it
my dad who works in nuclear said that is something that is being worked on currently
