new guy, what is your opinion on Rance
i'm almost finished with 02
i think
if you want to be a game dev, surely you've played it
02 is a lot shorter than 01 fire

idk how much it changes but it is 100kb bigger which is actually massive considering that's text/binary data only
its a story rewrite
cg's/ game progression is the exact same
they just change stuff to match the current lore
also i cannot figure out how to kill this one fucking enemy besides just getting really lucky

I think I grinded to level 90 for no reason in 02

it's literally like the perfect enemy strategy they really had to make the scythe attack bring you to 1 SP as well
after I already beat it though
since I needed 40 for the CG anyways
