I seriously know what that subreddit is like. It is mostly people posting right of centre opinions. And it is really bothersome that most of it there is political.
And it is especially bothersome that so many people are posting there about this recent incident. What was posted that you showed was not an "Unpopular Opinion" it was a Hot Take. Hot takes are the first things that come into your mind.
If you're going to say your opinion is unpopular, you've got to at least wait till your take is a cold one. That way you at least KNOW whether your opinion is unpopular or not.
