food waste I'd like to be better on, but most of what I waste is produce or hyper-perishable stuff like milk
which feels kind of inevitable
when you buy a box of strawberries or w.e
Milk is crazy
I have never had milk go bad because I drink it all before it goes bad
I mostly mean milk to cook with
drinking milk, yeah I'll just drink that
like, I threw out some buttermilk and whole milk this week,
and sour cream
that I used 75%+ of
but I'm not going to just chow down on sour cream, to avoid wasting it
I typically just don't but shit if I am not pretty sure I will use all of it
I'm trying to think of anything else that fits there
honestly, sour cream or cream cheese are like #1 and #2
of things I don't think I ever fully finish off
before they go bad
You should see if your groundhogs will eat it
salad dressing
oil/vinegar lasts forever
but god forbid you have a thing of caesar dressing
that will never get fully used
Gent funilly enough, I think the fact I buy the non-seed oil version
means it's 10x as perishable
idk, I think I'm more concerned about "wasteful spending" when it comes to food
versus 5-10% of it going bad before I can use it
I was arguing with you specifically about peanut oil
which is not the same as vegitable oil, in terms of how bad it is for you
Only oil I use for cooking is olive oil
that was the argument
I remember that post from spooky lmao
not at all
I remember the VC
was this when you made fun of me becaue my maya was sorta green
I don't remember the mayo convo
I re-read that convo
I stand by what I said
buying Cali mayo is weird
