I think Zuck knows that there's an opening if Musk continues to fuck up
for a new tech billionare figurehead
I mean, I agree that its not happening
I think trump stealing panama back is the most likely of his three things
It is a bad deal for both sides for the US to take Canada
I give Greenland an 80% chance of happening
Panama 40%
Canada <1%
I think they would go for anyone else before the US
Also, the only reason Canada would be a "bad deal" is having to untangle Quebec
If you really wanted anything you could just take it
it used to be ours Dialga, is the other part
You could go take France, right now
no reason to
but you could have it
I think Quebec is hard, because you'd essentially be creating a completely independent country within the contiguous US
I think the solution is to just give Quebec the entire east coast
economically, the downside of absorbing Canada is pretty localized
including US east coast
I do think you could create a 10-year plan, to absorb Canada, there's just never been desire too, because our politicians are scared of looking "imperial"
if Trump's serious about it, he could begin the process
but there's a <1% chance by the end of his term we own Canada
I think with how US politics works, it would be reversed after he was out of office
so it would be setup with no payoff
It is literally just a meme
no one wants it, he is just saying it because it pisses people off
which is a valid reason to say it
