I heard they rescaled hp so I thought that might change something but maybe that was dolf being a schitzo

also who would ever play pokemon for difficulty

unless you play competative but you don't even play the main games for that

other than getting one of my pokemon one-shot by something using a move i wasnt expecting them to have on occasion

i havent had too much trouble

My starter had 80 health

They rebalanced stats

I forgot to mention that I really like the agile/strong moves

The new speed mechanics are neat

Also the new pokedex

a lot of ideas they came up with are really cool

I don't usually care about graphics, but the pop-in model shit is really fucking jarring

and it bothers me

it also just makes the whole game feel ultra fucking low effort that it looks so much worse than either of the xenoblade games that are on switch while also managing to run worse

hell it looks and runs worse than botw too

I hate how fucking low the bar for innovation at gamefreak is, all the new stuff is genuinely cool but most of it should already have been in previous games

the seamless battles are great, love that I can enter a fight and get right into it within like 10s instead of waiting 5 years for the transition, trainer intro and pokemon intro/cry

I don’t really mind the graphics that much

I’m more just confused about why it’s like that

the fact that the mouths arent just images but actually 3D is also a good change

and player expressions

All the new models look nice
