what other emulators got taken down? Citra was because they were the same team as the Yuzu team. We don't really know what happened to Ryujinx, but there was no lawsuit.

I don't think that it's confirmed that he got a payout, but it does seem that way. Which also implies that they didn't have any precedence to sue him, which should make other emulator devs happy.
