Simpsons are so cutting edge on jokes, god they are so funny

Apparently all the running for 20+ years cartoons are just doing retellings of historical tales with the main characters filling in roles as filler episodes now.

I remember Rusp talking about how they had an anthology episode for Family Guy playing when they did the Sauerkraut meetup

You know I didn't like it much

Smiling Friends was strange because it had a great season 1, a really weak season 2, and a decent with highlights season 3

They could have made more-

But it really lost the plot past season 1

But they didn't so eh

I would struggle to find Gen Z/Alpha enjoying call backs and outdated internet memes

I wouldn't describe season 2 of smiling friends as really weak, it was fine

Like Smiling Friends was 100% Millenial and Gen Z, but Simpsons?

season 1 was the best season by far though

I think a lot of shows are just background noise "this is acceptable" kind of shows

KOTH is reboot nostalgia so it doesn't count as the still airing for 20+, South Park is in a bad state but different..., and I assume Bob's is just a quirky Gen X show.

A lot of tv is just the boomber equivalent of ipad baby shows

These shows being background noise is true, that's the only time I've seen South Park and The Office - with it being in the background for when a conversation starts going stale

South Part feels different

I have not watched southpark in a decade plus

family guy and simpsons are so past their prime it is comical

simpsons I'd at least still watch the treehouse of horror for a while, but that also ended like 10ish years ago

South Park's also political
