gj bowling a 230 last night Dr.Kribbles
I was very impressed
~180 is the average score you'll get for a clean game, where you hit every single pin in every frame
the entire 200s game is just a matter of how many strikes you can get in a row
so past 150, it's about arranging the results more than it is about actually bowling better
until you start chasing a perfect game or something absurd

That seems odd, how is it "arranging the results" like do you not just play as good as you can?
if you know what line you're trying to hit, and hit it every time
let's say you come away with 5 strikes, 4 spares, and get 19 in the 10th
you can have a 199 or you could have 239 depending on the order you bowl them
that's a much better way of saying it lol
you can't really force yourself to bowl perfect, the game is slightly chaotic and if you're not fucking up the actual "throwing the ball down the lane" part
then you're sorta just at the mercy of what order the results come
I assume most of what makes someone a bowling "pro" is mental
aka not fucking up when they have gotten 7 strikes in-a-row to fall
Phijkchu need to be come masters of all the dump sports
