especially since he lives in Toronto
he makes ~$1500 on Patreon
Megan makes a bit too
He gets no youtube views, and he privated all his videos so no residual ad rev
there are 6 people giving $100 each
almost everyone else is $1
couple $5 ones
this is where the parasocial part comes in
the people in his server are essentially paying for Rob to be their friend
and I don't even think it's meant to be malicious
but read through Rob's server, there's a lot of really fucked up dynamics
We jokingly call ourselves a cult but they're a real one at least it seems
