Modern minecraft is a worse game than old minecraft so
they are already wrong
If modern Minecraft updated faster and ditched bedrock
I'd be all in
Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak Modern minecraft is a worse game than old minecraft so
I don't agree with this at all
the april fools potato update unironically was higher effort than I think any other actual change they've done
I think its a different game
I can understand liking the modern more
the original Beta hunger change was when it became a new game imo
but its not the same game in a core game design and principle sense
that's the single biggest functional change until 1.8 combat
the rest is game content
It was pretty concrete, it had its core gameplay loop down at least
alt timeline Minecraft, where they add more comprehensive changes more often, but they're flags you enable/disable at world gen
I agree with spooky that hunger was the first major upheaval of the gameplay loop
ig it's a little like that already, since you have people with legacy worlds gen'd before big biome changes
I think it's a better game now, but it's hard (for me) to not dwell on how they could do better keeping the game updated/new
dude, the sprint change is wild to me
the idea we used to just walk everywhere
as someone who used to play a shitload of heavily modded MC
all the new stuff was always part of the appeal
I liked modpacks before they all became the same though
