half the soaks are literally

they NAILED that feeling from Elden Ring

theres a soak that poisons you, and a soak that boosts your crit chance and your normal damage when youre poisned + cures poison

which i liked taking up two soak slots

to use

because its a funny combo because i expected them to not work togetehr

I have the poison one rn

but they made them work on purpose

which is pretty nice

and and if an enemy attacks you mid drinking it

the poison procs before the poison heal

so you can poison yourself if you get interuppted

which is funny

I like the heal over time effect, so I pretty much just maxed that out

maybe I'll play with an offensive soak later on

and because the peopel of the area stopped practicing buddhism he set the beetle free to torture them, so ratman (and you) capture the beetle

this pisses buddhaman off and he turns everyone into rats

if they want to worship a rat so much, they can all be rats

Maybe jttw was already like this, but I noticed buddhism was made to be very malicious and evil in a certain number of chinese properties

the item you get from the secret quest completely deletes the phase btw

if its "too hard"

which i didnt learn until i did ng+

but i suspected it since every special relic item that goes in the bell/fire cloak slot

completely deletes a bosses phase

as like easy mode option

I'm glad I did it before finding that secret then

because it's a cool ass phase
