"wait this idea might be too much to do"
not that i have literally any idea about this game
"hey, if I'm doing 80% of the work on this game, I want more of the IP rights"

oh, actually Max, I misread that the first time
I think mentioning that being the issue explicitly is kind of dirty but whatever
I wonder if it's related to selling to a 3rd party
saying that is basically just implying "This guy was being a stickler for money and ruined our fun" no matter how much they try to then be like "oh but we're wholesome don't bother him"
