Changed how every system in the game worked
fundementally
Its like if minecraft randomly, next release, removed diamonds in the progression arc
and rebalanced around that
but worse
He has basically rebuilt the game from the ground up 4 times as was said
so its just 4 different games, and none were ever as good as literally the early alpha
So you don't have to balance multiple areas
that is why they do it
its dogshit though
As much as I hate that he ruined that game, I'll respect a guy for getting his bag and just fucking around
Still a metric ton of squandered potential, some of it trivially easy to have achieved as well
