like in general size wise I think prey is the size of like

3 dishonored 2 maps mabye

they backtracking is the weakest part of prey imo

really

i like it

well, if you clear out areas really throughroughly, and only have the roaming enemies

enemies only respawn after major changes

if they could do zero loading sceens

i think itd feel a LOT better

and i think with modern tech

they could

that would be such a cool change

all things considered each individual room is pretty small

if you want an even more lower budget immsersive sim

see deathloop

four levels

four levels 4 times of day, but most of the levels are empty

and like two of them are extmremely small

Deathloop felt a bit like a tech demo

yeah it had a story and well developed areas

the areas felt pretty weak

IMO

I guess, layout was what I felt

nowhere near as good as dishonored

the science place was an awful level

its not hard or anything its just

which actually had so many parallel paths to approach everything

really open and boring

I played Deathloop kinda recently, and had such low expectations

idk prey was good enough for me to play it 3 times

that it was fine ig

You know Mooncrash is one of my favorite games period, despite being DLC

and the only thing I dislike about Prey is the ending

which imo doesn't really matter

Deus Ex HR had a worse ending, and that game is also still amazing

I played a demo for one of them 2-3 years ago, that played well

but then there was another one in dev too

tbh i dont expect it to be good

it loosk kinda goofyh

at least it wont be as bad as like the thief reboot
