akaik (and I'm sure there are like 10 additional layers to this) he was sorta falling apart, was asked to step back, had a full-on freak-out, was formally replaced, then calmed down and went back to re-invovle himself in an advisory role and as a part of marketing the anime

I watch 7-13 shows a season usually Deadfun

about half of it is usually just sequels though, I could stop watching new shit and have anime to watch every season for years due to sequels at this point

I do like the social element of discussing anime with polu/spooky/ others

I like watching airing shows, but prefer when stuff is spaced well through the week Some seasons when all of my shows are on the same day I get super burned out
