I watched the first episode of Teppen

They seem to have started as the studio that did the promotional animations for FGO

or some of them anyways

regardless of what they have done, the fact that this arc was entertaining is a feat

I would say that is just as much on the script writers, as it is the animators though

don't forget the voice director

They still have the director I really like

The guy I liked who did some script work on S1 sadly never returned

even with this good animation and production I still don't like this Konosuba arc

I flat-out, don't like Darkness as a character past vol 2 or 3, through the entire series and spin-offs

she's always been the worst character

you can write funny situations with her in them, she doesn't take away from other characters or good writing but I have zero investment in her and don't enjoy her stories

idk why

That said, I think this season is pretty good, though I don't like the studio as much as everyone else does

i like the free stye to the animation that goes off model for effect

My read is that she's choosing to speak slowly to simulate an accent, she's a good VA and did a good job here
