that's a bad chart, only because the colors aren't obvious at a glance for 1-50
I didn't read exactly what you're mapping, but I feel like everything should be green for 0, yellow for 1-10, orange for 11-50, and 51+ is red
if you want to add purple/black after red, use whatever breakpoints actually matter in your data
if the range of 1-10 genuinely matters, shift your colors down, don't add shades of green-yellow-orange
at most you should have 5 colors
if the black means N/A rather than 0, I'd still rather they be the same color, unless there's a distinction there that matters
