this season is so funny

Its so funny when they flashback to something in season 2 and that has a ton more animation than the last 5-10 minutes of the episode

they spent all of this episodes budget on last weeks episode

Dude, the guy who animated that hyped it up on twitter as the episode he worked on

and I will hand it to him, he did the most animation so far

The fact that this is still not the worst thing I have watched is funny, goes to show how fucking rotten shield hero season 2 really is

I prefer OPM with slideshow technology to that

even though the animation is entirely lacking it still has a couple of good qualities

for whatever reason, the panning shot of Saitama's apartment was what got me to laugh this week

For what its worth, I don't even really dislike season 3

I think its just hilarious how fucking low effort it is

Especially considering its not even a studio thing, S2 was 100x more high effort, and JC staff does good work sometimes elsewhere too

idk why you would just low-effort a popular IP like OPM the way JC staff is

and yeah JC staff has done and probably will still make good shows

I'll make an excuse for them, I think JC Staff is just not set up to adapt a show like OPM

The Bandai section of Bandai Namco is one of those companies for the entire history of existence I don't think anyone has liked

Should've given it to passione. It would have been entirely ass shots of tornado and her sister all season

I'm sure if you paid them to overhaul their workflows, hire new staff, etc. they technically could have done it

but I don't think Bandai was misled, they were ok with the level of adaptation they were going to get

My only counter to that Spooky is S2 was way more animated than this, so I feel like they could have, if given more time/etc, at least done that well again

So, I went back and re-read the bus arc from Spy x Family yesterday, because there was a translation from the episode I was pretty sure was wrong (it was) And I didn't remember how good the ratio of chapters-->episodes was, it's genuinely 1-2 manga chapters per episode

OPM is like 6:1, which is what spawned that thought

What was the translation error

I didn't catch that when watching it

the security services talking about the hostages no longer being alive, hence why they weren't going to negotiate
