Go through all the regions, have reasons to have to get rid of pokemon, or 'send them away' - to encourage catching new pokemon in the new regions. you have your 'pikachu' that doesnt have a level, is basically always the same strength as the gyms in the

that's why I think you should not have access to old pokrmon in the new region

I just want a game that has all the regions, where you start with new pokemon at the start of each region, then have access to other region pokemon after you beat the E4 in that region. But maybe that wouldnt work, who knows
