Hacking and charisma can get you really far, to point that playing a character without investments in that kind of hinders you

Kind of like epic battle fantasy 4, game is free but steam version has that boss rush thing that you would have to buy
Like you can buy skins and stuff and buying on steam gives as much credits as it costs to buy
