and the "keys" to open the safes to get the skins has dropped in game 2 days after they came ot, and all safes have been free to open for over a year now
they made it so you can get that stat boost as a weapon mod drop, adn they drop regularly too
and people lost thier shit
they added a skin system like csgo but instead of stat tracks they had stat boosts which had equal to a 1% boost to stability on guns where recoil literally doesn't effect anything, or on guns were it can get max recoil withoiut it
that microtranaction thing was BS on the communty's part and not MTs at all
