Remember, the DLC is not dropping at midnight local time. It is set for "Night" on June 17th JST which also happens to be the time of the Pokémon Presents presentation and the Pokémon HOME maintenance

the best way to revive the franchise is dissolving Game Freak because they suck at making games, but for the DLC they have a new director who seems to be competent
