But you're right, I'm kind of missing the mark on that comparison Leg
Then there are things that aren't plot holes, that are dumb
Like the Star Wars sequel, where they open the door to space
And Leia flies in
Here's a scenario
In the first Jurassic Park, Dinosaurs fuck over the island and kill a lot of people
But for some reason in-universe, a couple decades later they do it all again in Jurassic world
I can't conceive of that being a realistic premise, but it's not a "plot hole"
I'm having trouble thinking of something I'd consider a plot hole
Most of the time, I assume it's just meant to be dumb or not well thought out
Or it's something that gets retconned
People often confuse in universe rules for plot holes
oh don't get me wrong, those people are retarded too
but if a universe establishes something is how a world works, it would have to be inconsistent with another in universe rule for me to have a problem with it
OK, I thought of one
Harry Potter
They never use the Time Turner again
I stick with them never using it again is either a plot hole, or the author retconning it out of the universe
