Is there a resurrection mechanic or is that relegated to good survival games

in a way, that's resurrection though

no gent the mechanic is you make a new character then walk around for half an hour before being able to tell where you are then walk for another half hour back to your previous base

then stand around for 2 hours rereading all the books you collected
