but they can do:

Advancements, Functions, Loot tables, Predicstes, structures, recipes, and data tags

loot tables

can be used to have mobs drop the utility stuff again

i loved the scavenger perk from pmc

killing mobs could drop gold, slabs, wrenches, cakes, etc

it would need to be more balanced but could work
