If I were to make a game, I would keep it turn-based but make the terrain come into play
strategy game??
I'd probably get rid of trainers and have it just be your pokemon moving through the map
Pretty much, it'd be a hexagonal grid
pokemon conquest with hex grid
I'd want the same battle system as the main games for the most part, only moves will now have ranges, and size might come into play

unity is ez to learn
i actually want to use unreal anyway
i do know the basics but I couldn't find any guides on making a hex grid
I would probably use unreal but I work so much faster in unity
i just use c# wayy more than c++ in daily life
me too but C# is slow
it's fast enough for most things
I'm an embedded engineer but I have more experience in C# somehow
i wish i had more control over the garbage collection
when I was building a voxel engine that was the main problem I ran into
I want to do a cardboard cutout style hex grid fantasy strategy game, but even if i figure out the grid system and menus I won't have any decent graphics
that is also my issue
I have no artistic talent whatsoever

thats part of why i'm planning 2D sprites in a 3D environment

all it has is the collectathon parts

I still feel like Luigi's Mansion is very much a second tier franchise (which I'm sure I said then), but I'll probably pick it up at some point
