I mean, everyone betted on docker
and it infuriates me
It's not a bad idea
I would love to learn it
Yeah
Idl
Idk
Look at stuff like aws
It's taken over the world
in practice, it's such an absolute waste of time, and it's already lost in industry
it'll lose in the consumer space soon enough
Idk, I see potential in it
But then again
I have never used it
turn back time, I agree
they went in the wrong direction
So you know more then me
Ok
Kubernetees isn't much better
which is what industry is using now
There are so many containers out there
but both could be beat, by some fuck in his basement, who has a vision for how containerization should work
Idk what the one I tired to mess with was
But I did not get far
The again I had no need for it
I don't really do much hosting
Like none
set hosting aside, containers should be everything
conatinerize fucking everything
I work with local networks
And if I'm not
I just use vpns
And make it a local network
it's more efficient than x64 resource management, which is your foot in the door
it's more stable, as a concept
and it's scalable
Yeah
That's why I think it's great
The future for sure
I just don't know how to use it
Heck, this is my first year of college
docker fails, because (docker) containers aren't built to work together
so you need to add complexity to each container
which defeats the purpose
And I haven't taken a single class related to it yet
Everything I know is from my own research
Well and trade school
