Apparently Trump killed Common Core
Sort of
Common Core was being rolled out subject by subject
Math first, then English
Then future subjects
The government had only commissioned K-12 curriculums for Math/English
And the Trump admin just decided to not bankroll the creation of future subjects
States are still incentivised to implement the Math/English common core
(other than VA, Texas, and Nebraska?)
What the Department of Education needs to do, is start accrediting more education curriculums presented by the states, since the time-table right now makes it prohibitively expensive
or just dissolve
