and was the 2990 a good deal? I don't have my finger on the pulse for how much they got marked down after Zen 2 came out
it was $1500 for 32 cores and slightly slower than the new stuff
That's not half bad
since it's about the same as a lower clocked 3970
depending how much headroom you have on the silicon
I'm using liquid cooling so I might try to overclock it
