I honestly think a mage-sorc-gunwitch build upgraded to wizard and scythe weapon addon works the best

but a mage-warlock-holyknight build with a paladin upgrade with guns could be pretty good too

guns in general are pretty top tier due to their inherit speed and range, and dealing physical damage so you can still dual-type foes weaknesses

oh and no matter what always pick up the classless skill "weak point analyzer" the crit bonus is the best part and pops off end game
